As you may have realised by now, I am participating in "Collaborate for a Cause" along with Nicola Lee from Sweet Shabby Crafts. If you don't know much about this lovely lady and her amazing business, pop over to her facebook or Madeit store and see the beautiful fabrics and crafty items on offer. It was from her gorgeous shop that I bought the Lecien Vintage style Little Red Riding fabric that I have used a few times for my appliques. It is also from her shop that the infamous Michael Miller "Strawberry Tea Party" fabric is being used for this Collaborate for a Cause project. It was kindly donated by Nicola, who is also making an exquisite Dolly and hair piece out of the same fabric, to co-ordinate with my Organic Cotton Appliqued Tee and Skirt. (which is my contribution to the cause!)
Here is a little piccie of this sublime fabric...
Excuse the creases, but I had to unravel it and admire it in the full and wasn't able to get it back to looking like how it arrived!!
It has been so wonderful meeting such a kind and awesome lady, such as Nicola and I am so glad we are able to donate our proceeds to such a vital and worthy cause. The cause is known as ARC, or Noah's Ark and helps support children and their families with Autism, Chromosomal Abnormalities and Down's Syndrome, by providing engaging and educational equipment and supplies for these children. We are hoping to get alot of bidders, as every single dime goes straight to this organisation and we want to see these children and their families get better and more adequate equipment! The Auction will take place on the 30th July, so please keep this date marked in your calender and help us by bidding on these items! Here is a sneak peek of Part A of my contribution...the appliqued Organic Cotton Tshirt which Part B will see a matching skirt to accompany it!! I like to call it..."Butterfly Tea Party!"
Don't forget, Friday the 8th of July at 7pm will be the time when I draw the lucky winner of the 500 liker giveaway! So if you haven't commented yet, please do! Till then,
Ciao xox

The tee looks awesome! Can't wait to see all of the finished product together. Think there's going to be lots of jaw-dropping goodies up for grabs in the CFAC auction. Wonderful cause you're donating proceeds to as well. :)
